to the boating community in southern Tasmanian waters, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Aim

Our primary aim is to protect, save and preserve human life and property
in Tasmanian coastal waters.
Objectives

To promote and encourage Best Practice in Volunteer Marine Rescue organisation,
administration, and operation.

To co-operate with and assist Tasmania Police in
the provision of marine search and rescue resources in southern Tasmanian coastal waters.

To promote Safety of Life at Sea through public education programmes.

To deliver excellence in training and education.

To promote the safe operation of small craft through Public Education
Programmes, weekend Safety Patrols, and Search and Rescue.
